A Review of Degradation Diagnosis of Lithium-ion Batteries Based on Differential Curves
The differential curve method is gaining widespread attention from scholars in the field of lithium-ion battery aging diagnosis due to its promising future, as it offers unique advantages such as small calculation, high interpretability, and easy implementation. In order to deeply analyze the development status and problems of the differential curve method, this paper presents a systematic review from the perspective of its principle, technology, and application. Firstly, the incremental capacity analysis, differential voltage analysis, differential thermal voltammetry, and differential mechanical parameter are introduced in detail, and the advantages and disadvantages of these four main differential curve methods are compared and analyzed. Then, the current research status of differential curve methods, such as Incremental Capacity Analysis, in lithium-ion battery aging mode diagnosis and health status assessment is highlighted by systematically sorting out their application scope and conditions. Finally, the shortcomings of the current differential curve methods are clarified, and the next research direction of differential curve methods is prospected.
