This paper presents an optimization approach for a photovoltaic (PV) pumping system composed of a PV generator, a pulse-width modulation (PWM) inverter, and a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) coupled to a centrifugal pump. The control strategy is based on frequency and speed regulation using passivity-based control, which enables the system to respond dynamically to variations in solar irradiance and temperature without the use of a DC/DC converter. A fuzzy logic controller (FLC) ensures closed-loop speed regulation, aligning motor speed with the reference corresponding to the PV gene
This paper discusses the application of the method of automatic compensation of phase distortions of direct digital synthesizers (DDS) to improve the spectral characteristics of generators of probing signals of subsurface ground penetrating radars of the geological environment. The proposed technical solutions were tested using an experimental sample of a georadar probing signal generator based on the DDS AD9854 debug module with an automatic compensator for phase distortions and disturbance regulation and showed a decrease in the level of discrete parasitic spectral components depending on th
Majority forecasters predict commercial primary energy consumption to double by 2030, then triple around 2050. However, most electrical energy is produced by burning non-renewable resources. In addition, this type of electricity production is mainly responsible for the production of CO2 released into the atmosphere, causing the phenomenon of the greenhouse effect which confronts the planet with the phenomena of global warming. The depletion of these fossil resources, in the more or less long term, and the fight against greenhouse gas emissions make it urgent to diversify energy sources: the us
This research shall be undertaken for the purpose of designing and comparing solar systems and studying their stability on the grid. The research shall be on simulator model developing for incorporating solar into the grid, its voltage stability, its load balancing, and its stability on frequencies. The stability of solar generation fluctuations with respect to climatic parameters shall be analyzed, and techniques of stability improvement with the utilization of energy storage devices. Advanced simulator packages such as Simulink and MATLAB shall be utilized. This research addresses solar powe
Indonesia, with its long coastline, faces numerous challenges, including flooding and coastal erosion, which are intensified by climate change. Im-mediate detection and monitoring are crucial, and satellite technology plays an essential role in this process. This paper presents the design, development, simulation, fabrication, and analysis of a microstrip bandpass filter (BPF) tailored for coastal satellite reception in Indonesia. Operating within the 3.7 GHz to 4.2 GHz range, the BPF is designed to enhance signal quality by allowing the selective passage of desired frequency bands while reduc
