Early diagnosis and timely therapy vascular complications of Marfan syndrome are extremely important - they determine the prognosis of patients' lives. Early cardiac surgical correction for Marfan syndrome allows significantly increase duration and improve quality of life of patients. Clinical laboratory-instrumental examination of patients diagnosed with Marfan syndrome. A comprehensive examination aimed at searching for characteristics of Marfan syndrome and hereditary connective tissue disorders indicated for first-degree relatives with the purpose of early diagnosis and correction o
This study focuses on improving the early diagnosis of cardiovascular pathologies in the context of dust-induced lung diseases, which develop due to exposure to occupational hazards. Analysis of humoral aspects of the defense system makes it possible to establish the specifics of the development of professional pathologies. This process underlies the growth of the effectiveness of diagnostics, the modernization of algorithms for the primary and secondary prevention of pathologies, their prognosis and the reduction of the likelihood of loss of working capacity.
This study investigates adrenal cortical dysfunction and its role in recurrent edema in post-term neonates (≥42 weeks gestation). The findings reveal altered cortisol and aldosterone levels, suggesting HPA axis immaturity, fetal stress adaptation, and RAAS dysregulation as key contributors to fluid imbalance. Elevated cortisol levels in some neonates indicate chronic stress response, while low levels in others suggest transient adrenal insufficiency. Aldosterone abnormalities were associated with sodium retention, electrolyte imbalances, and edema formation. These findings underscore the
The study included 127 patients with postinfarctioncardiosclerosis (PICS) complicated by heart failure at the age of 40 to 60 years. Patients were divided into 3 groups according to functional class (FC) CHF according to the New York Heart Classification (NYHA) according to the test 6-minute walk away. All patients to determine the level of creatinine(Cr) and calculated by the formula GFR MDRD (Modification of Diet in Renal Disease Study). To assess the clinical condition of the patients used the rating scale clinical status of patients (SHOKS). CHF progression accompanied by a marked reduc
The article presents overview and statistical data on heart failure and cardiovascular diseases, data from world studies on different forms of heart failure in accordance with the modern classification, their clinical, anamnestic and prognostic differences, and different approaches to the treatment of heart failure. Over the past five years, the number of patients with chronic heart failure with preserved ejection fraction has increased from 38 to 54%. The increase in life expectancy, and, consequently, the number of patients with chronic heart failure, in particular with preserved ejection
